October 4, 2018: Head of Business Administration Prof.Dr. Kıymet ÇALIYURT's visit to Istanbul University Faculty of Business Dean Prof. Dr. Recep PEKDEMİR, Sakarya University Faculty of Business Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi CAN, Prof. Dr. Oktay GÜVEMLİ and conference participants together with our Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan TABAKOĞLU and request for permission and support for AACSB accreditation.
November - December 2018: Sakarya University Faculty of Business Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi CAN and Dr. Conducting preparatory work with the support of Lecturer Adem AKBIYIK and opening the Business Administration website.
January 17, 2019: Fanny Vladimirova from AACSB Middle East Member Admissions Office invites Trakya University Business Administration Program to Member Referral Program.
February 22, 2019: Assigning the General Secretary of Trakya University to Prof. Dr. Kıymet ÇALIYURT to start, coordinate and execute AACSB Accreditation studies.
February 25, 2019: Virtual chat invitation from Faac Vladimirova from AACSB Middle East Member Reception Office.
March 6, 2019: Prof. Dr. Kıymet Çalıyurt, Assoc. Dr. Engin Demirel and Dr. Lecturer. Member Onur Çetin attended the AACSB meeting at Sofia University.
13 March 2019: Visit of Edirne Chamber of Commerce President Özay Öztürk and Öztürk Holding regarding the establishment of Advisory Board of the Department of Business Administration. Participants: Özay Öztürk, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Dr. Sinan Ünsar, Prof. Dr. Engin Demirel, Prof. Dr. Kıymet Çalıyurt, Em.defterdar Oral Levender.

NUMBER OF MEETINGS: 01 Establishment of AACSB Accreditation Working Group WORKING
Decision No 8: In the Department of Business Administration, the request of the Department of Business Administration to apply for AACSB (Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation with the support of Istanbul University Faculty of Business and Sakarya University Faculty of Business in order to ensure internationalization in line with the objectives of YÖK. Preparation of the AACSB Accreditation process approved in .2019, the establishment of the AACSB Business Department Coordination Board in order to manage this process, the establishment of a board of advisors (Appendix-3), the curriculum of AACSB Accreditation and Accreditation from the business world. It has been unanimously agreed that the situation will be renewed in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and it will be presented to the Dean's Office.
