Assoc. Dr. Emel YILDIZ

She graduated from Edirne High School in 1988 and from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics in 1993. In 1997, she completed her master's degree at Trakya University, Institute of Social Sciences in consulation of Prof..Dr. Derman Küçükaltan with her thesis “Kırklareli'nde Konuşlanmış Sanayi İşletmelerinin İstihdam Problemleri Üzerine Bir Analiz". In 2006, she received the Dr. title at Trakya University, Institute of Science, Agricultural Economics Program with her thesis "Econometric Analysis of the Effects of Monetary and Fiscal Policies on Agricultural Production" under the supervision of Asst. Assoc. Dr. Okan Gaytancıoğlu. She received the title of Assistant Professor in 2007 and Associate Professor in branch/departmant ofMacro Economics in 2019.

Her research interests lie in the area of human capital, sustainability, economic growth, development.

She currently serves as Trakya University İ.İ.B.F. Department of Business Administration, USA cooperatives presidency since 2014. She is trying to contribute to the field of cooperatives by making publications and organizing international conferences on cooperatives,

The book with two authors titled ““Sürdürülebilir Büyüme İçin Enerji ve Kooperatifler’ is one of the work of her in this field.

Macro Economics, Growth and Development Economics, Development Economics are the undergraduate courses of her and at the graduate level, she lectures and directs thesis on Globalization and Women and Economic Development.
