Our History

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was established in 1992 as a subordinate of Trakya University with the Law No. 3837. In the 1993-1994 academic year, the faculty started its undergraduate education with the Departments of Public Administration and Business Administration, and still provides formal education in the Departments of Business Administration, Public Administration and Economics and International Relations, and night education in the Departments of Business Administration and Public Administration and Economics. As of the 2009-2010 academic year, the Department of International Relations was opened for night education, and the Departments of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Econometrics and Finance were opened for formal and night undergraduate education. In addition, the Departments of Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, International Relations, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Econometrics and Finance are open to graduate education within the body of Trakya University Social Sciences Institute.

Department of Business Administration carries out the Accounting and Finance Doctorate Program, Management and Organization Doctorate Program, Accounting and Auditing Graduate Program with Thesis, Management and Organization Graduate Program with Thesis, Accounting and Auditing Distance Education Graduate Program, Management and Organization Distance Education Graduate Program as of 2019 Fall Semester.
